Finally there is an alternative carbon rim for clincher tires in significantly higher quality and lower weight. The new Goldsprint Ultimate carbon rim is a very well-made full carbon rim with a modern, bulbous U-profile and an excellent price-performance ratio. It is suitable for use on racing bikes, time trial bikes or fixed gear bikes.

As is usual with modern rims, the rim is slightly wider at 23 mm, which means that the tire sits more firmly and its properties are closer to those of a tubular tire. This improves the stability of the wheel, reduces the rolling resistance.

The rims, manufactured according to EN standards, are manufactured using the UD construction method, which creates the characteristic look. The Ultimate rims are carefully crafted and are a pleasure to use even when laced. Upon request, we can also provide a significantly lighter version for tubular rims or rims with 3K or 12K carbon fibers.
