The Crust "Face-Off" stem is an excellent choice if you’ve opted for a larger frame. You’ll likely need a shorter stem like this one and won't need to worry about a tall stack height; this allows you to mount the stem directly against the headset ("slammed") for a clean, attractive look.
It is also ideal for bikes like the Wombat, which have a relatively low stack height. If you are using it on a bike to achieve a riding position with short reach and high stack, a matching 25mm spacer is included to help you position the handlebars a bit higher.
With the "Gloss Clear" and "Translucent Café" finishes, a fine, spiderweb-like rust patina may develop beneath the coating over time.
However, this is no cause for concern, as it is merely a visual phenomenon.
