Friction shifter that pulls 50mm cable. Great choice for 1x setups with wide range cassettes. The 12-speed gearbox has been shown to work. Shifts any 11-speed road derailleur (and Shimano MTB 10-speed Dyna-Sys). Also shifts older 7/8/9-speed derailleur gears.
The micro-ratchet design makes the effort required when upshifting and downshifting feel almost the same.

To be clear: this shifter is a brand-new design and we here at Goldsprint haven't personally tested it yet. We've heard reports of it having absolutely no problem accurately shifting big 11-speed, 12-speed, and even 13-speed cassettes. However, it's guaranteed to shift any 11-speed road rear derailleur (and Shimano MTB 10-speed Dyna-Sys). Will also shift older 7/8/9-speed derailleurs.
