The new DUKE Baccara SLS2 wheels are the latest development of the essential 3K Baccara.
For this new generation we worked on 3 points: weight, comfort and aerodynamics. Thanks to SLS2 technology we have reduced the weight by 10%. This process also allows for better filtering of vibrations generated by the particle size of the bitumen. Comfort is improved.
The inside width between the hooks is larger at 21 mm. This gives the tires more volume, improving performance, comfort and cornering grip. A wide rim also means you can use thinner and lighter tires while maintaining comfort, softness and grip through a larger air volume.
The recommended tire widths are 25mm and 28mm, tubeless or with an inner tube.
The rim's profile has been revised to improve its aerodynamics and stability in all wind conditions. The external width is larger at 27.6 mm and has a new warhead shape. This reduces air resistance and thus increases speed. In addition, the wheels are less sensitive to crosswinds and the steering is more precise, meaning the cyclist feels safer. Best results are achieved with 25mm tires.
