ERGON’s GP series is globally recognized as the benchmark for ergonomic wing-shaped grips. Touring cyclists who prefer handlebars with significant backsweep don’t have to sacrifice ergonomic comfort, either—that’s exactly what the GC1 was designed for. On handlebars with pronounced backsweep, the GC1 effectively prevents numbness in the fingers as well as pain in the hands and forearms.
The GC1 was specifically engineered to meet the ergonomic needs of city bikes, beach cruisers, and touring bikes featuring an upright riding position and swept-back handlebars. Conventional round grips often cause the wrist to bend at an uncomfortable angle with this type of handlebar. The GC1 corrects wrist alignment through its anatomically and ergonomically optimized shape, ensuring outstanding comfort. It is made entirely from top-quality, TÜV-certified rubber compounds manufactured in Germany. A forged aluminum clamp allows for precise adjustment for a perfect fit, makes fine-tuning easy, and prevents any twisting once installed.
