The Impala Lowrider is an exceptionally sturdy rack designed for heavy loads on gravel roads, paved streets, and wide trails—anywhere narrow passages or rough terrain aren't a major concern.
The extended side struts with extra-low pannier rails shift the weight of the bags to the level of the wheel axle, instead of about 15 cm above it, as is the case with standard racks like the Divide. This significantly lowers the bicycle's center of gravity, resulting in extremely stable and controlled handling.
