The Nano is a 2-in-1 solution for city dwellers: its compact design allows it to fit into smaller, tighter living spaces, while its smaller wheels and shorter wheelbase deliver a fun, agile ride—without compromising on cargo capacity.
Its compact dimensions also make the Nano easier to combine with public transport. This encourages multimodal mobility, making it simpler to leave the car behind and use the bike instead, even for longer daily commutes.
The Nano is compatible with standards used by the Cargo and Mini-Max V3 models, offering access to a wider range of accessories—such as the "Tilting Rack Bracket," which allows the bike’s footprint to be further reduced when parked.
The Nano rolls on two 20-inch wheels with 2.15-inch tires and features a shorter wheelbase than other Omnium models. This results in more agile handling and a compact overall size;
In addition, the smaller wheels accelerate more quickly—a major advantage in urban environments, which often involve frequent stopping and starting.
Omnium designed the bike with a sloping top tube to lower the standover height, making it accessible to a wider range of riders. Although available in only one frame size, the low-slung top tube makes it suitable for riders of various heights (160 cm to 190 cm) while consistently delivering an excellent ride feel.
Despite its compact design, the Nano rivals larger models in terms of carrying capacity: with a permissible total weight of 125 kg, you can load up the rack as you please without worrying about weight limits. Omnium utilizes the IS brake mount, which is ideal for flat-bar bikes and allows for easy brake rotor adjustment. A 15x100 mm thru-axle is used on the fork, while the rear wheel configuration depends on the choice of "Rocker" dropouts.
The frame is available in only one size and is suitable for riders between 160 cm and 190 cm tall.
1x Drivetrain Only:
- The frame is designed exclusively for 1x drivetrains and accommodates a chainring with a maximum of 46 teeth. When choosing the chainring size, note that larger chainrings result in less favorable angles, which can compromise shifting precision and reliability.
Drivetrain/Shifting:
- Omnium recommends a combination of their Apex rear derailleur and an 11-36 cassette; this is the exact configuration used on Omnium's complete bikes. However, mechanics building their own bikes can also experiment with a short-cage derailleur setup. Be sure to pay attention to the rear derailleur's maximum permissible cassette size to achieve the desired gear range.
