At Home on the Trails: The Thórsmörk is built for riders who look beyond gravel roads and familiar routes. When the terrain gets tighter, rougher, and more unpredictable, this steel hardtail maintains its composure and confidence.
Named after the Icelandic mountain range Þórsmörk—meaning "Thor's Forest"—this bike draws its inspiration from rugged landscapes shaped by untamed nature.
The Feel of Steel: The natural compliance of steel ensures a smooth and controlled ride—particularly over longer distances. It absorbs fine vibrations without dampening feedback from the trail surface, thereby lending the bike a stable and confidence-inspiring character across varied terrain. The durability of steel further reinforces this sense of reliability, as the material is engineered to withstand years of demanding trail riding.
Modern Trail Geometry: At its core lies a double-butted Chromoly frame built around a modern trail geometry. Handling proves stable in challenging terrain and on descents, yet remains agile and responsive in tight sections. The ride feel is balanced and predictable. Clearance for 29 x 2.6-inch or 27.5 x 3.0-inch tires allows for the use of high-volume setups that optimize grip, comfort, and control over roots, rocks, and rough forest trails.
Adaptable and Bikepacking-Ready: The 44mm head tube accommodates a wide range of fork configurations. With a suspension fork, the Thórsmörk transforms into a capable trail hardtail for technical singletrack; with a rigid fork, it remains simple and efficient for longer tours.
The frame is dropper-post compatible and works with both SRAM and Shimano drivetrains—offering maximum flexibility in component selection without compromising the bike's handling characteristics. Numerous mounting points and ample space for frame bags make it ideally suited for bikepacking adventures, maintaining stable and predictable handling even when fully loaded. Full compatibility with fenders further extends its versatility for use in all seasons.
