The Pitchfork Aerobar System meets the demands of long-distance ultra races and offers space for everything you need quickly.
The Pitchfork is a two-piece holster system with huge side pockets made of stretch fabric and a removable 6-pocket Ultra 200 Denier dry bag. The pockets offer space for light layers and can also safely store calories from fuel stops. To optimize bag size, the holster wraps over the handlebars instead of being attached underneath. This allows for both larger bags and quick access to a flat, top-mounted bungee system. Everything is designed for quick access, and all cords are interchangeable on-site for long rides.
To accommodate different handlebar distances, the holster incorporates laser-cut Hypalon slots that adjust the width of the strap attachment. The seam-welded Ultra 200 UHMWPE dry bag has an asymmetrically tapered bottom for increased stem clearance and offers space for a lightweight sleeping/shelter system or warm clothing and rain gear. A removable front strap allows the front of the dry bag to be tensioned when fully loaded and used in rough terrain. The dry bag is attached to the holster with spring-loaded, non-dangling automatic buckles.
Since the Pitchfork is stretched over the handlebars, the Profile Designs UCM Aerobridge is recommended for attaching lights and computers.
