The Salsa Cutthroat is the epitome of a Tour Divide-inspired long-distance and bikepacking bike for a wide variety of terrain.
The high-quality carbon frame features Class 5 Vibration Reduction System technology: specially shaped seat stays and the absence of joints allow the stays to flex under rough impacts, while the special chainstays ensure lateral stiffness. This makes the frame comfortable without flexing sideways under power. Of course, the frame and fork already feature thru-axles, which also provide the necessary rigidity and tracking stability.
The fork has also been redesigned and is now not only lighter and more stable, but also has new features such as the ability to route a dynamo cable internally. The fork is also suitable for mounting lowriders.
The Cutthroat is also equipped with everything a bikepacker could want - Anything Cage Mounts and a matching carbon fork, three water bottle mounts on the frame (two for size 52cm), and a direct mount for suitable top tube bags and the new direct mount frame bags from Salsa. With a suitable seat clamp from Salsa, mounting a luggage rack is also possible.
