SimWorks has developed this CRISPER brake cable housing as an alternative to the tried-and-tested stainless steel outer casing. It is particularly suitable for riders who value minimal braking distance loss – an important aspect with many modern mechanical disc brakes.
The internal construction consists of a thicker stainless steel spiral, making it significantly more rust-resistant than the steel housings from other manufacturers. The housing is available in a variety of attractive colors. It features a polyethylene inner lining that noticeably improves braking performance.
The outer diameter is 5 mm, and you can use a 1.2 mm inner diameter. The included 3 m length is more than sufficient for most bicycles with conventional mechanical front and rear brakes.
