Forget everything you thought you knew about aluminum. Advances in tubing and design have transformed it from the bumpy chassis of yesteryear into something truly refined. Chessie's double-butted main triangle and carefully selected tubes deliver an exhilarating, smooth ride with the stiffness needed to push forward. The custom, sliding dropouts allow for easy single-speed setups with flat-mount brakes while still providing clearance for fenders.
The triple-butted fork is a true performer and ready for racks, fenders, and rack cages. The elegant, segmented design perfectly complements the frame without appearing oversized, and the frame clearance is as generous as Chessie's appetite: tires up to 700 x 50 mm or 650 x 2.25 inches in sizes M and L, and 650 x 2.1 inches or 26 x 2.25 inches in sizes S and XS. Those who prefer mudguards can mount 700 x 45 or 650 x 45 tires.
