The Spelljammer is a classically inspired, handcrafted randonneur frame from Wilde Bicycle Co. – designed for long distances, versatile roads, and touring with luggage, but with a modern twist.
The Spelljammer combines the charm of classic steel randonneurs with thoughtful modern details:
- Classic design meets modern performance: Inspiration drawn from, among other things, the iconic Space Horse Canti version and versatile gravel elements.
- Rim brake setup: By foregoing disc brakes, the frame can be made from lighter tubing, resulting in a smoother, more comfortable ride – and remains true to the classic aesthetic.
- Fillet-Brazed Steel Frame: Carefully smoothed fillets give the frame a refined, handcrafted look and are an expression of traditional frame-building craftsmanship.
- Durable Details: Semi-horizontal dropouts with a "nubbin" feature ensure stable rear wheel alignment, even with lightweight axles and quick-release skewers.
