The Wolf Tooth Supple Lite handlebar tape is designed to provide luxurious comfort and ample grip for long days in the saddle while maintaining a slim handlebar profile. The handlebar tape is made from an EVA foam compound that absorbs vibration and moulds to the hands for a custom fit.
At 2.5mm thick, it is half the thickness of Wolf Tooth's original Supple Bar Tape and offers a slimmer option that combines optimum comfort, grip and light weight.
The side profile of the Supple Lite Bar Tape has a raised centre bar with tapered edges. The edges have been specially designed to allow the tape to overlap when applied and still feel even and smooth. With an overlap of 15 mm, the finished bars have an even wrap. You can increase or decrease the 15 mm overlap to adjust the grip feel on different sections of the handlebars to get exactly the grip you need. The tape comes with a thin strip of adhesive for easy fitting. Handlebar plugs and a polyurethane tape are included in the package for a neat finish. Like all Wolf Tooth products, the Supple Lite handlebar tape has been tested in a wide range of conditions - from harsh Minnesota winters at Wolf Tooth HQ to hot and dusty desert rides, humid bikepacking in the summer, gravel racing in the spring and everything in between. Two years of testing have confirmed that the Supple Lite handlebar tape is the perfect middle ground between traditional handlebar tape and the brand's thicker Supple Bar Tape - offering the comfort of the latter with the lower profile of the former.
Ideal for road or gravel handlebars - or even tri extensions - it offers incredible comfort as well as a clean look that will enhance any cockpit.
