Advanced Composite Technology: Giant's high-performance carbon fiber is used to manufacture this special carbon frame material, which is woven and processed in-house and offers an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle is molded as a single piece. The modified monocoque construction eliminates the outer braided composite layer. This reduces weight without compromising ride quality, stability, or stiffness.

Compact Road Design: Introduced by Giant in the 1990s with the professional team ONCE, the Compact Road Design revolutionized the look of high-performance road bikes forever. A downward-sloping top tube creates smaller front and rear triangles for a lighter, stiffer bike. It makes it easier for riders of all sizes to achieve the perfect fit.

Flip-Chip Dropout:Allows riders to quickly adjust the ride by changing the rear tire clearance with an eccentric, two-position chip in the rear wheel dropout.

MegaDrive:The MegaDrive down tube, when combined with the Overdrive/Overdrive 2, increases frame stiffness. The diameter of the down tube is increased as much as possible. However, the thin walls keep the MegaDrive down tube very lightweight.

OverDrive: Giant's original oversized steerer tube. Built for steering precision, the extra-large headset bearings (1 1/4" lower, 1 1/8" upper for road, 1 1/2" lower and 1 1/8" upper for mountain) and the tapered steerer tube provide optimal front-end stiffness.
