This versatile road racer combines race-proven stiffness-to-weight ratio with aerodynamic tube construction and systems integration. From the road-ready Variant seatpost to the carbon wheel system, every part is designed to work better as a system. The new OverDrive Aero steerer technology is combined with the Contact SL AeroLight stem and Contact SL handlebar to enable new internal cable routing for easy setup and adjustment, while integrated disc brakes and generous tire clearance for tires up to 33 mm adapt the bike to all road conditions.

Holistic Aerodynamics: All tube shapes were developed and designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models and wind tunnel testing. Advanced Composite Technology: GIANT's high-performance carbon fiber is used to manufacture this special carbon frame material, which is woven and processed in-house and has an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle is molded as a single piece. The modified monocoque construction eliminates the outer braided composite layer. This reduces weight without compromising ride quality, stability, or stiffness.

Compact Road Design:Introduced by Giant in the 1990s with the professional team ONCE, the Compact Road Design revolutionized the look of high-performance road bikes forever. PowerCore: The PowerCore bottom bracket shell is another feature that contributes to Giant's high frame stiffness. The wide fit of the bottom bracket cups and the tight connection around the MegaDrive down tube increase frame stiffness.
